DMP-(Distribution Monitoring and Protection Unit)

This document details the technical specifications of the DMP (Distribution, Monitoring and Protection Unit).

Main functions of DMP are
  • a. Distribution of AC power.
  • b. Generation and Monitoring of DC supply to the PCMs for C-Band & X-Band arrays.
  • c. Overload protection for supply to the PCMs
  • d. Generation of 11V, +/-20V and 26V DC supply.
  • e. Fuse blown feedbacks and supply controls.
  • f.POWER SUPPLY 26V/50A DUAL
REDUNDANT:

DMP consists of 5no. POWER SUPPLY 26V/50A DUAL REDUNDANT. 26V DC from power supply 1 to 4 are distributed as 56 pairs of outputs, each to power the PCMs in C band and X-band antenna array.
Each SMPS is a dual-redundant having rating of 26V/50Amps (2 SMPS of 25A o/ps combined in single unit).

INPUT:-

  • It takes 415V10% AC, 3-Ph, 5 wire, 50Hz, input and distributes the same to various Also 1-ph supply for IFF antenna, BSU, X- band MPM Power supply(internal) etc.
  • It also takes 200V(L-L) 10% AC , 3Ph, 5 wire, 400Hz as input for distribution to C-Bandand X-Band blowers. Output used with HCU only, not used when with ACU.
OUTPUT:- Multi Output Power Supply: 11V/2A(2 Nos.), +20V/1.5A(2 Nos.) and 20V/1.5A(2 Nos.) for TMS and AMS supply . One no. of 26V/15A output distributed for ADCU/ADICU, HCU/X-Band source and for Switching internal contactors coil voltage.
  • c. X-MPM Power supply: Input is 240V,1-Ph(internally). Output is 270V DC.
  • Possessing the aptitude to design and develop in accordance with customer specifications and demands.
